Overpopulation

Human Overpopulation

Our reproductive system plays as almost everyday part in our lives. It dictate our roles in society, our preferences in a mates or perhaps what you want to experience. But many things can happen to our body and our reproductive system has no shortage of potential problems.

The Biggest Issue: Teenage Pregnancy

Solution: Birth Control Methods: is any method, medicine, or device used to prevent pregnancy. Women can choose from many different types of birth control. Some work better than others at preventing pregnancy. The type of birth control you use depends on your health, your desire to have children now or in the future, and your need to prevent sexually transmitted infections. Your doctor can help you decide which type is best for you right now.

1. Condoms: are thin pouches that keep sperm from getting into the vagina.

2. Vasectomy: is a form of permanent male contraception that involves surgically cutting or blocking the vas deferens, the tubes that carry sperm from the testicles to the penis.

3. Birth Control Pills: are a kind of medicine with hormones. Birth control pills come in a pack, and you take 1 pill every day. The pill is safe, affordable, and effective if you always take your pill on time. Besides preventing pregnancy, the pill has lots of other health benefits, too.

4. Sterilization: surgery to make a person or animal unable to produce offspring.

5. Abstinence: Abstinence (AB-stih-nints) is the simplest form of birth control. If two people don't have sex, sperm can't fertilize an egg and there's no possibility of pregnancy. A person doesn't have to be a virgin to practice abstinence. Sometimes, someone who has been having sex decides to stop doing so. A person who has been having sex can still choose abstinence to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in the future.
